Patterson (hamstring) will undergo surgery on his hamstring and miss the rest of the season, according to manager Sean Dyche.
ANALYSIS
Patterson's season is over with less than a month still to play in the Premier League. Dyche didn't officially rule him out for the remainder of the season, but hamstring surgery usually takes up to three months to fully recover. He closes a mostly difficult campaign in which he lost his starting job multiple times resulting in just nine starts, as Ashley Young, Seamus Coleman and even Ben Godfrey were preferred over him when healthy at times.
