Kai Wagner
28-Year-Old
Philadelphia Union
MLS
2025 Fantasy Outlook
After inking a deal through 2026 with a player option for 2027, Wagner had another productive season in Philadelphia. Despite the team's overall struggles, he had his best individual season, with 10 assists and a goal. His 5.17 shot-creating actions per 90 is in the 99th percentile globally for full-backs, which says it all about his role. Wagner will again be one of the best defenders in MLS in 2025, as long as a move back to Europe isn't in the works.

13 crosses in loss
Wagner sent in 13 crosses (five accurate), created four chances, and took one shot in Saturday's 1-0 loss at Nashville. He also picked up a yellow card for the second consecutive match.
ANALYSIS
Wagner was active on both ends of the pitch, per usual, but he couldn't do enough to keep the Union from suffering their second straight 1-0 loss. He'll look to help Philadelphia bounce back in their upcoming home stand with four of their next five matches at home, beginning with an Eastern Conference clash with the New York Red Bulls.
