2025 Fantasy Outlook
Puig completed an outstanding 2024 season as arguably LA's top player and one of the most consistent midfielders in the league. Including playoffs, the Spaniard netted 17 goals and produced 12 assists, making him third top scorer in the team and second best with assists. It was an uptick from last season where he netted just seven times and delivered four assists. He was pivotal to the Galaxy's attacking, usually positioned centrally or on the left flank. Tragically, he tore his ACL in November which means he will miss most of the 2025 campaign, but the hope is that he'll return late in the campaign to be a difference for the playoffs.

Back running on grass
Puig (knee) was spotted running on grass during his rehabilitation, as he shared on Instagram.
ANALYSIS
Puig is progressing well in his recovery from an ACL injury, as he has been spotted running on grass in recent weeks. This is positive news for the Galaxy, with their playmaker expected to return to team training soon and potentially make appearances before the end of the season if everything goes as planned. In the meantime, Diego Fagundez and Elijah Wynder are seeing increased playing time in the midfield.
