PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS

GOALKEEPER

Darren Randolph, WHU v. HUL ($5,300): West Ham picked up their first clean sheet of the season Wednesday, though it was against a Burnley squad that has managed just one goal away from home all season. However, Hull is 18th in the league with just five away goals this season. Randolph has started five consecutive games for West Ham, and the first four opponents were Tottenham, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool, who all sit in the top six in the league. Despite his first clean sheet coming last time out, it was not Randolph's first good performance, as he saved seven shots while allowing just one goal against United. West Ham is the heaviest favorite on the slate as well.

Ben Foster, WBA v. MUN ($4,100): A late 'garbage time goal' at midweek prevented Foster from picking up a clean sheet, but it did represent his sixth consecutive game of not allowing more than one goal. Manchester United has five goals in their last four games, allowing goalkeepers to make 16 saves in the period - 3.2 saves per goal.

DEFENDER

Patrick van Aanholt, SUN v. WAT ($5,500): Scoring between seven and 11 fantasy points in each of his last five, van Aanholt presents a consistent source of production. He has two goals and one assist this season, as well as seven shots in his last four games, which shows his solid upside.

Fabio, MID v. SWA ($4,600): After a promising display last time out against Liverpool – two shots (one on goal) and three crosses – Fabio is a consistent performer from the fullback position. In addition to getting involved in the attack, the left-back has also accumulated eight tackles and seven interceptions in his last three games. The Bob Bradley-led Swansea squad continues to be a mess defensively, making it fully exploitable by Fabio and the rest of the Middlesbrough attack.

Donald Love, SUN v. WAT ($3,800): An injury to Billy Jones could re-open the door for Love in the starting lineup. In 31 minutes off the bench at midweek, he delivered a couple of crosses, and in his two starts this season, he managed six and seven fantasy points, respectively; nothing of outstanding upside, but enough to make him well worth it such a meager price.

MIDFIELDER

Gylfi Sigurdsson, SWA at MID ($9,000): The peripheral stats are too good to pass up after he put in 15 crosses Wednesday. The Icelandic international, with the defense failing, has seen his attacking contribution surge under Bob Bradley. In the last five weeks he has contributed to five goals (three goals, two assists), 16 shots and 48 crosses.

Xherdan Shaqiri, STK v. LEI ($7,600): Recent games have been lackluster for the Swiss winger, but an early substitution at midweek and a suspension for Marko Arnautovic should allow big things from Shaqiri. In games when he's played at least 80 minutes, Shaqiri is averaging over 13 fantasy points per outing.

Adama Traore, MID v. SWA ($5,800): While he is still without any goals or assists, Traore has presented enough physical talent to make it worth returning to the well. It's also worth mentioning that his last four starts came against Manchester City, Chelsea, Leicester and Liverpool, and a home game against Swansea presents the best opportunity Traore has seen this season.

FORWARD

Dimitri Payet, WHU vs HUL ($9,100): The best (and most active) player on the biggest favorite, it's pretty easy to wind up at Payet as a foundational piece. Despite not contributing to any goals at midweek, the Frenchman was prevalent on the stat sheet with three shots (one on goal), six crosses and five fouls drawn.

Anthony Martial, MUN at WBA ($6,800):Zlatan Ibrahimovic's goal dependence is a deterrent at his price ($8,800), while Martial has been a more well-rounded source of fantasy points of late. Despite a lackluster display last time out against Tottenham, Martial had two goals and an assist in his previous two matches (including one EFL Cup match).

Andy Carroll, WHU v. HUL ($6,400): Carroll, otherwise known as the head on which Payet's crosses lay, received his first start since August last time out after a knee injury. While he failed to find the net, it was not without promise, as he took six shots, including two on target, and he'll now get to attack the poor Hull away defense.
