FanDuel NBA: Saturday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Saturday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

GUARDS

Lou Williams, LAC at MIA ($8,500): The injuries in Los Angeles have allowed Williams to take over this team, and he's playing some of the best ball of his career. Williams is averaging 24.7 points and 6.9 assists across his last 10 games, and he's leading the team in usage, shots and minutes since Blake Griffin went down.

Nicolas Batum, CHA vs. POR ($6,000): Batum has been struggling with injuries all season long and it's really hurt his fantasy value. That said, his price has reached a point at which he's worth a gamble. Portland is also allowing the second-most fantasy points to opponents across its last five games.

Tyler Ulis, PHX at MIN ($4,900): Ever since Ulis has been given the starting point guard job in Phoenix, he's shown flashes of brilliance. That's what makes him so attractive, as an upside like this from a player south of $5,000 is hard to find. Ulis has put up at least 25 fantasy points six times this season and has broken the 20-point plateau ten more times. The matchup is enticing as well, with Minnesota ranking 26th in defensive efficiency.

FORWARDS

Paul George, OKC at NYK ($7,500): George's production has been down this season, but not enough for a price to drop like this. In the past, George was a five-figure player and he's shown flashes of that this season. It's the most recent games that have really dropped his price, as he's scored 30 or less fantasy points in four straight contests. Prior to that, he was averaging over 40 fantasy points per game, which is incredible value for a $7,500 player.

James Johnson, MIA vs. LAC ($6,500): There aren't many small forwards running their offense as much as Johnson, as he's in the midst of his best stretch of the season right now. Over his last four games, Johnson is averaging over 33 fantasy points per game, while flirting with a triple-double in his two most recent outings. The Clippers are a fantastic matchup considering they allowing the second-most fantasy points to opposing small forwards.

Evan Turner, POR at CHA ($3,600): Turner has been inserted into Portland's starting five recently, and he's looking like a nice value at this price. While he hasn't provided great production yet, he's been a $6,000 player when given 30 minutes of action. Turner is averaging 27 minutes per game across his last four games, and Charlotte is allowing the third-most fantasy points to small forwards this season.

CENTERS

Karl-Anthony Towns, MIN vs. PHX ($10,600): KAT is coming off one of his best games of the season and he could continue to roll in such a beautiful matchup. The Suns not only rank dead-last in total defense, but they allow the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing centers.

Steven Adams, OKC at NYK ($6,900): All the talk in Oklahoma City is about the Big Three, but Adams is quietly having the best season of his career. He's averaging 31 fantasy points per game for the season, and he has at least 29 fantasy points in seven straight games, while averaging 35 fantasy points per game in that span.

Greg Monroe, PHX at MIN ($5,900): It's hard to understand what the Suns are doing with their big men, but Monroe is extremely valuable when given a monster role like he has been recently. The reason for that is the absence of Tyson Chandler, as he's been in and out of the lineup due to injuries and personal issues. Over his last four games, Monroe is averaging 31.5 fantasy points per game, while ranking among the top three on the team in usage.
