One day after the NBA moved to postpone its three playoff games scheduled for Wednesday, the league will do the same with the three games scheduled for Thursday.

Play is expected to resume in the near future, however.

Per Shams Charania of The Athletic, playoff games could resume as soon as Friday.

In all, the league postponed six games, beginning with Wednesday afternoon's scheduled Game 5 between the Bucks and Magic. Milwaukee initially boycotted the game -- Orlando refused to accept the boycott -- before the league officially stepped in and postponed the contest.

Players met in Orlando on Wednesday night to discuss their next moves. According to sources, at that time, canceling the remainder of the postseason was potentially on the table. The Lakers and Clippers were reportedly the two teams in favor of that option.

On Thursday morning, however, players presented a more united front focused on finishing the playoffs, as well as finding improved ways to impact social change.

As of Thursday morning, the NBA is yet to settle on an amended schedule to account for the postponement of Wednesday's and Thursday's games, but play is expected to resume before the end of the weekend.

Players and owners are also expected to meet Thursday to further discuss a joint plan.

UPDATE (2:00pm ET)

Per Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer, games are expected to resume Saturday.
