Celtics Look To Close Out Series At Home
The Boston Celtics play host to the Miami Heat in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals at TD Garden on Friday evening.

The Celtics lead the series 3-2 and have an opportunity to book their ticket to the NBA Finals with a home win. They have momentum on their side after a dominant performance in Game 5.

The game got out to a low-scoring start, as the Heat led, 19-17, after one quarter. Neither side could get much going in the second, and the hosts pushed their lead to five, by halftime. The Celtics came out much stronger in the third and outscored the Heat, 32-16, to rally to an 11-point lead heading into the final frame. The Celtics maintained control the rest of the way and held on to earn the critical win.

Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 25 points, four rebounds, a steal and a block. Jayson Tatum followed up with 22 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists, while Al Horford added 16 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks and a steal. Meanwhile, Bam Adebayo was the high-point man for the Heat, with 18 points, 10 rebounds and a block, in 38 minutes. Gabe Vincent followed up with 15 points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal, while Jimmy Butler chipped 13 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block.

Both sides continue to deal with injuries, as Marcus Smart (ankle) and Robert Williams (knee) are both listed as questionable. Tyler Herro (groin), Kyle Lowry (hamstring), Max Strus (hamstring), P.J. Tucker (knee) and Gabe Vincent (hamstring) are also listed as questionable for action.
