2024 Fantasy Outlook
Following a disappointing season in Boston, during which he played just 41 games, Mykhailiuk was picked up by the Jazz in the offseason, signing a four-year deal. Despite this being a more favorable situation, it is unlikely Mykhailiuk will be utilized on a nightly basis, at least not to begin the season. A noted sharpshooter, Mykhailiuk provides Utah with another floor-spacing option on the wing, something that should at least keep him in the discussion for rotation minutes. There is no reason to consider taking him in fantasy drafts, even in deeper leagues. However, should the Jazz shut it down at any point, Mykhailiuk could be a viable three-point streaming option should he carve out a consistent role. Read Past Outlooks

Heavy minutes off bench Sunday
Mykhailiuk finished with 14 points (5-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt), four rebounds, four assists and one block across 39 minutes during Sunday's 116-105 loss to the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Despite coming off the bench, Mykhailiuk logged heavy minutes in a tight eight-man rotation. Mykhailiuk was a decent source of triples when given the chance to be part of the first unit in 2024-25, having averaged 12.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.6 three-pointers in 24.0 minutes across 13 games as a starter this season, but his fantasy value was muted outside of the treys category.

When Mykhailiuk plays his first game with Toronto next season, he will don his fourth different jersey in four NBA seasons. The 6-foot-7 wingman closed the 2020-21 campaign in promising fashion, averaging 16.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.3 three-pointers over his final four contests, but his overall numbers were mostly in line with his previous body of work. Of concern, his efficiency from three-point range -- Mykhailiuk's bread and butter -- dropped from 40.4 to 33.4 percent, and his output consequently dipped from 2.1 to 1.6 treys per game. Mykhailiuk could emerge as a low-end source of points and threes if he's able to increase his playing time with the Raptors, but he's more of a wait-and-see player than a draft-day target in fantasy.

Latest Fantasy Rumors

Could head back to Europe
Mykhailiuk is being linked with a potential return to Europe ahead of the 2024-25 season, according to Johnny Askounis of Eurohoops.
ANALYSIS
It seems Mykhailiuk has been around forever, but that's because he spent four years at Kansas and then has played six seasons in the NBA. He's only 26 years old and about to enter the prime of his career, so he'd be an excellent option for Euroleague teams looking to bolster their perimeter offense with an accomplished shooter. Mykhailiuk has had stints with the Lakers, Pistons, Celtics, Thunder, Raptors, Knicks and Hornets throughout his career in The Association.
