Eubanks finished eighth in the nation as well as fourth in the Pac-12 in field-goal percentage (.624) in the 2017-18 season, his final year in college. He tallied the fourth-most blocks (69) in the Pac-12 as a sophomore, and he followed that accomplishment up by recording the fifth-most rejections (55) in the conference during his junior season. Along with the aforementioned stats, the Troutdale, Oregon native led Oregon State in two-point baskets made (164), two-point percentage (.624), two-point baskets per game (5.1), two-point attempts per game (8.2) and blocks per game (1.7) as a third-year player. Eubanks declared for the 2018 NBA Draft after his junior year, but he went undrafted. He signed with the San Antonio Spurs in the summer of 2018.
Cleared to play Saturday
CUtah Jazz
November 30, 2024
Eubanks (knee) isn't included on the injury report for Saturday's game against the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS Eubanks played just one minute and 30 seconds in Wednesday's 122-103 loss to the Nuggets before leaving early with a bruised left knee, but two days off between games apparently provided sufficient recovery time for him. The Jazz will get Lauri Markkanen (personal) and John Collins (knee) back from one-game absences Saturday but will remain without Kyle Filipowski (lower leg), so Eubanks should be able to stick in the rotation as the primary backup to starting center Walker Kessler.

2021
Coming off his best season as a professional, Eubanks signed a two-year deal with the Suns during the offseason. With Jock Landale now in Houston, Eubanks should have a clear path to backup minutes, playing behind Jusuf Nurkic, who was swapped for Deandre Ayton this offseason. Eubanks closed the 2022-23 season as the 153rd-ranked player in standard leagues, averaging 6.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks. Although he doesn't offer a ton of versatility on the offensive end, he is a strong rebounder who can protect the rim with athleticism. Eubanks is not someone managers need to prioritize outside of deeper formats, but should he carve out a larger role than expected, he could have some limited streaming value in 12-team leagues.
Arguably one of the best waiver wire pickups to end last season, Eubanks again finds himself slated to be a backup option behind Jusuf Nurkic. With Nurkic going down with an injury down the stretch, Eubanks stepped into a much larger role, putting up great fantasy value over the final 16 games thanks to averages of 16.9 points and 8.8 rebounds. However, barring another injury to Nurkic, Eubanks will only see backup minutes per night out of the gate. Across the entire 2021-22 season, Eubanks averaged 17.5 minutes per game, ending outside the top 250. This is where managers should view him now, making him a viable asset in deeper formats only.
Eubanks' third year in the league was nothing special, but the 6-foot-9 center did show signs of improvement as the season progressed. The Oregon State product missed 13 games early due to COVID protocols but finished the season averaging 5.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 14.0 minutes per game. This season, Eubanks figures to be the backup center for Jakob Poeltl once again, but the team's lack of depth at the position makes the 24-year-old an interesting fantasy option. The Spurs signed Zach Collins in the offseason, but after re-fracturing his foot in June, it is unclear when he will be ready to return to the court. With Collins out, the only three true centers on the team are Poetl, Eubanks, and Jock Landale. In fact, Eubanks has proved he can be a solid contributor when given minutes. In the third-year-pro's nine appearances where he saw over 20 minutes a game, Eubanks averaged 9.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks. While it will still be hard for him to find that type of playing time regularly, if something happened to the Spurs' rotation that would force Eubanks to see the court more, he could very well be a serviceable fantasy option in deep leagues this year.

Could decline his option
CPhoenix Suns
May 19, 2024
Eubanks is a good candidate to decline his player option for the 2024-25 season, according to Keith Smith of Spotrac.
ANALYSIS Per Smith, the Suns would be wise to re-sign Eubanks to a veteran's minimum contract this summer with a new player option for the following season. Eubanks has stated he wants to stay with the Suns for 2024-25, and that might work in the team's favor if both parties need to negotiate a new deal.
