Withdrawing from draft

May 28, 2024
Dixon is withdrawing from the 2024 NBA Draft, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
ANALYSIS
Dixon withdrawing from the 2024 NBA Draft ensures his expected enrollment at Villanova. Once expected to participate in the 2024 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, it appears he did not participate in it, which could have prevented him from using his extra year of collegiate eligibility. During both Dixon's junior and senior seasons, the forward-center averaged more than 15 points and five rebounds for Villanova's team. So even though it acquired center Enoch Boakye from Fresno State, Dixon is expected to have a prominent role in the Wildcats frontcourt yet again.
