Bowl season kicks off today with a two-game slate. Of course, these early bowl games have some interesting names!

QUARTERBACK
Unfortunately we have to fade Utah State's Jordan Love today due to a drug-related incident that occurred last week. Love and two other players were charged with possession of a controlled substance and although Love will suit up for the game, it remains to be seen whether the team will levy a penalty on Love in the form of playing time.
Dustin Crum, Kent State (DK $6,800, FD $9,800) vs. Utah State
Crum possesses one of the best TD/INT ratios you'll find in college football, with 18 touchdowns to only two interceptions. He's completed 68 percent of his passes this year and can burn you in play-action as he'll run the ball 10-15 times a game. While there are more talented passers on this slate, Crum delivers the best overall value in a game where they'll need to heave it up to stay competitive.
Chris Reynolds, Charlotte (DK $7,000, FD $10,400) vs. Buffalo
Reynolds can do a little bit of it all, especially with his feet. He's rushed for an impressive 781 yards and six touchdowns on the ground, which will keep the Bulls on their toes.in this contest. Buffalo would be wise to assign a safety to shadow the sophomore as he

RUNNING BACK
Utah State's Gerold Bright (DK $5,800, FD $8,500) was also cited with marijuana possession in the December 14th incident, and although he's also eligible to play, it will be Bright's last game with the Aggies and I have a hard time envisioning disciplinary action that would hinder his output. I'd consider him a dark-horse value play at this position
Jaret Patterson, Buffalo (DK $7,500, FD $11,500) vs. Charlotte
The Bulls are a run-first team and Patterson is the linchpin of their offensive attack. Not only did he set school records this season, but the 5-9 sophomore is also one of the most prolific backs in the nation. His 1626 rushing yards ranks him sixth in the country. I think it's an absolute necessity to slide him into your roster despite the sky-high ownership and you'll risk falling off the pace if you don't go this route.
Benny LeMay, Charlotte (DK $7,200, FD $9,400) vs. Buffalo
I'm opting to spend up at running back because this slate isn't exactly bursting with elite talent at wideout. The next guy up behind Patterson is LeMay. Not only did he run for over 1000 yards this season, he's also one of the 49ers' top receivers with 19 catches for 242 yards and four touchdowns. LeMay has Patterson beat in that category, but this game won't be won in the air. The better offensive line will win this affair, and the ultimate war will be at the line of scrimmage as both teams try to create holes for their marquee runners.
WIDE RECEIVER
Siaosi Mariner, Utah State (DK $6,400, FD $8,100)
It won't matter if Henry Colombi or Jordan Love is under center - Mariner is the best receiving target for the Aggies and should still post a good number. While his stats aren't jumping off the page, Mariner is a speedy runner who can break out with a big play. The Golden Flashes have an exploitable secondary,, so expect Mariner to have a strong outing in his last college game.
Mike Carrigan, Kent State (DK $5,000, FD $7,700) vs. Utah State
Chris Reynolds has a trio of talented receivers to target. I singled out Carrigan as we need to hit some lower salary points on the slate. I can't fault rostering Isaiah McKoy or Kavious Price, either.- all three are reasonably priced. I'd consider stacking two Kent State wideouts.
Caleb Repp, Utah State (DK $4,300, FD $6,100) vs. Kent State
I'll single out Repp s a value pick. He's now found the end zone in two straight contests, and the senior tight end is a prime red-zone target who could come in handy today.
FLEX OPTIONS
I think two QB's are the way to go in the Super Flex, and since there is so much focus on the running game today, I'm likely to go with a runner in the flex. Kevin Marks (DK $6,800, FD $8,600) is a good complement to Patterson for Buffalo, and Will Matthews (DK $5,200, FD $7,600) can deliver both rushing and receiving yards for Kent State.
