McCaffrey announced Monday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Louisville, joining the program as a transfer from Nebraska.

McCaffrey arrives at Louisville after recently wrapping up his redshirt freshman season at Nebraska. He appeared in 11 games during his time with the Cornhuskers, completing 57 of 88 attempts (64.8 percent) for 608 yards, three touchdowns and six interceptions to go with 530 rushing yards and four scores on 89 carries. The dual-threat signal-caller will enter 2021 with up to four years of eligibility remaining, but he may need a waiver from the NCAA in order to compete for the Cardinals during the upcoming campaign.
