2020 Fantasy Outlook
Carlson is attached to a Raiders offense that took a big step forward in 2019, but his own work was far less impressive, including four misses from 40-49 yards and another two from 50-plus yards. He also didn't see a ton of volume, with the Raiders favoring a slow pace of play and struggling to get stops on defense. The third-year pro could find himself in a preseason job battle with undrafted rookie Dominik Eberle. Read Past Outlooks

Sets franchise record
Carlson made his only field-goal attempt and buried all three of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 32-31 win over the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
Carlson missed just two of 35 total field-goal attempts during an impressive 2020 campaign and also made 45 of 47 extra-point tries. His 144 points set the franchise record for most points scored in a single season, which was previously held by Raiders legend Sebastian Janikowski. Carlson's stellar closing stretch earned him AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for December, helping him gain momentum ahead of restricted free agency this offseason. Las Vegas likely plans to lure him back.

Recent RotoWire Articles Featuring Daniel Carlson

There's a good chance that you'll see Travis Kelce out of uniform this week, though he won't be hanging out with George Kittle as he was here in this picture.

Russell Wilson carried your team early in the season, but he's had diminishing returns recently and you might not start him in your championship game.

The injury-ravaged San Francisco offense figures to run through Jeff Wilson and Brandon Aiyuk in Week 15.

The Chargers are 3.5-point underdogs Thursday in Las Vegas, but RotoWire's Andrew Laird is still expecting Austin Ekeler to be one of the most popular players on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Selected in the fifth round last year, Carlson lasted just two games with the Vikings but did nice work after resurfacing in Oakland. He missed one kick, a 45-yarder, in 10 games with the Raiders, setting him up to handle the job without competition this summer. The additions of Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams create upside for the Raiders offense, but overall team strength remains a concern.
