Ross Dwelley
24-Year-Old Tight EndTE
2019 Fantasy Outlook
Dwelley was barely a factor in his rookie season, seeing just 39 offensive snaps and catching two passes for 14 yards. 2019 is shaping up to be a different story. The 24-year-old has stood out in camp, putting himself in position to make the team as its third tight end. With current backup Garrett Celek dealing with an injury, Dwelley has a ceiling of second on the depth chart to begin the year. Read Past Outlooks

Appears to have won backup job
TESan Francisco 49ers
August 30, 2019
Dwelley joined George Kittle as inactives for Thursday's preseason finale against the Chargers, signalling that the former has won a backup job on the 53-man roster.
ANALYSIS
Dwelley saw his stock rise with a strong training camp, and he apparently did enough to separate himself from the pack and earn the primary backup job behind star tight end Kittle. While this is great news for Dwelley, a backup tight end job won't get catch fantasy owners' attention unless Kittle was forced to miss time at any point this season.
