29-Year-Old KickerK
Dallas Cowboys
2019 Fantasy Outlook
The 29-year-old Maher finally got his shot in the NFL last year and responded with a solid campaign. He missed two kicks from 30-39 yards and four from 40-49, but made up for it by converting six of seven from 50-plus yards. Maher's strong work on extra-point attempts alleviates some of the concern about accuracy, and he'll have plenty of kicking opportunities if Dallas maintains its late-2018 momentum. Costly miss in loss
KDallas Cowboys
October 16, 2019
Maher made three of his four field-goal attempts and his only extra-point try in the Cowboy's Week 6 24-22 loss to the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Maher converted from 50, 62 and 32 yards on his respective field goals, tying his career long in the process, but his third-quarter miss from 40 yards ultimately proved costly. Through six games, Maher has misfired on four of his 11 field-goal tries, limiting him to 39 total points on the season.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
After spending last season in the CFL as a combo kicker/punter, Maher will provide some competition in camp for Cowboys' incumbents Dan Bailey and Chris Jones. Bailey's back issues in 2017 make him slightly more vulnerable, but in all likelihood Maher is just auditioning for other teams in case an injury strikes.
