2025 Fantasy Outlook
After spending the first four years of his career as Buffalo's deep threat, Davis signed a three-year, $39 contract last offseason with Jacksonville, sparking some hope for a more varied role in which he could use his size and strength on short/intermediate routes. It didn't work out, as he not only struggled on the shallower routes but also failed to make an impact downfield, netting a long gain of 22 yards over 10 games before a meniscus tear ended his season in mid-November. The 26-year-old should be ready for Week 1 of 2025, and the Jaguars don't have any financial incentive to release him until next year, but Davis nonetheless faces a major challenge, hoping to rebound from an ugly first debut in Jacksonville while rehabbing from knee surgery and learning the playbook of a new coaching staff. Head coach Liam Coen did a fantastic job as Tampa Bay's offensive coordinator this year, but it won't necessarily be Davis who benefits if that carries over to Jacksonville, where No. 2 overall pick Travis Hunter and free-agent addition Dyami Brown may end up taking most of the snaps alongside returning No. 1 receiver Travis Hunter. Getting look from Giants
The Giants are hosting Davis (knee) for a visit Tuesday, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
It's the second visit in as many days for Davis, who checked in with the 49ers on Monday, after he was released by the Jaguars on May 7. The 2020 fourth-rounder is recovering from a meniscus tear that he suffered in Week 11 against the Lions but is expected to be fully healthy by the start of the 2025 regular season. He previously played under Giants head coach Brian Daboll in Buffalo, and a reunion would put Davis in a receiver room alongside Malik Nabers, Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton.

Davis became the prototype for a "best-ball only" receiver during his time in Buffalo, taking it to comical heights last season when he had five games with at least 87 yards and a touchdown and five others with no catches at all. In the end, a 45-747-7 receiving line was quite similar to what he'd done the year before (48-836-7), putting Davis on the free-agent market as a mid-range No. 2 receiver. The Jags gave him a three-year, $39 million contract with $24 million guaranteed -- shortly before watching Calvin Ridley slip away -- and then added another deep threat (LSU WR Brian Thomas) with the 23rd overall pick. Any notion of Davis taking on a much larger target share after switching teams can probably be put to rest, unless Thomas is a total bust or Christian Kirk misses a lot of time (actually, Davis might need BOTH of those things to happen, considering the Jags have TE Evan Engram and RB Travis Etienne locked in as major parts of the offense as well). Davis might not be quite as boom-or-bust as he was in Buffalo, but he'll probably still fit best as a bye-week replacement or a mid-round pick for best-ball-scoring formats.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Potential reunion with Daboll
Davis will visit with the Giants on Wednesday, Paul Schwartz of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Davis is returning from a knee injury that cost him the final six games of the 2024 season and was released by the Jaguars on Wednesday. He already visited the 49ers on Monday but came away without a deal, and he'll now be lined up for a potential reunion with coach Brian Daboll, the offensive coordinator in Buffalo when Davis was drafted. Davis had the most productive portion of his career with the Bills, though that was also likely due to the benefit of catching passes from Josh Allen.
