2024 Fantasy Outlook
Foreman is capable of providing a functional power-based run game when given volume as a runner, and he proved as much when he led Carolina with 914 rushing yards at an efficient 4.5 yards per carry in 2022. The problem is that Foreman sometimes finishes games better than he starts them, and if the rushing usage volume isn't available in a given week then he's liable to go cold. Foreman might therefore struggle to see playing time while the other Browns running backs are healthy, and with a trivial amount of guaranteed money it wouldn't be difficult for Cleveland to move on from Foreman's one-year deal. Inks deal with Cleveland
The Browns and Foreman agreed to a contract Wednesday, Jordan Schultz of BleacherReport.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After an injury-riddled start to his career, Foreman has carved at a role in three different backfields over the last three campaigns, averaging 54.4 rushing yards per game and racking up 12 touchdowns on the ground in 35 appearances between the Titans, Panthers and Bears. With his new team, he could get in the act early on if Nick Chubb's recovery from a serious knee injury delays his 2024 season debut, but Jerome Ford likely still would be the team's top back in that scenario.

Heads to Cleveland
Foreman signed a contract with the Browns on Tuesday and is expected to serve as a depth option behind Nick Chubb and Jerome Ford, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Foreman put together a trio of solid starts during his sole Bears season in 2023, and he qualifies as a solid experienced depth option for a Browns running game that may need it early in the season. Chubb is in the process of recovering from an ACL tear suffered in Week 2 of last season, and if he's not fully prepared to open the new campaign, Foreman could have a robust role alongside Ford.

Foreman took over the lead role in Carolina last year after Christian McCaffrey was traded midseason. He topped 100 rushing yards in five of 11 games and was third in the league with 877 rushing yards Weeks 7-18. He joined the Bears in March on a one-year deal, and as much as their depth chart is varied, Foreman stands out. He's the biggest by far, at 6-0, 235, outweighing the second heaviest (rookie fourth-round pick Roschon Johnson) by 16 pounds despite having run roughly a tenth of a second faster in the 40. Foreman (4.46 pro day 40) is also the fastest Bears running back aside from maybe free-agent pickup Travis Homer (4.48 combine 40), who was a passing-down specialist in Seattle. Foreman and Khalil Herbert are the best runners of the four, while Homer and Johnson are probably the most qualified for passing-down work. Injuries could settle the question, but until then Foreman and his backfield mates are best viewed as lottery tickets rather than immediately useful.
