Morrison was selected by the Buccaneers in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft out of Notre Dame and is reportedly on track to be fully available for training camp following hip surgery he underwent late in 2024. He started all 31 games he appeared in during his college career and displayed a knack for getting his hands on the ball (27 pass defenses, including nine interceptions), and he could challenge for plenty of snaps during his rookie campaign. Head coach Todd Bowles told reporters that it was a great sign to see Morrison moving around at practice Friday following his hip surgery last season, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

The Notre Dame product was considered one of the best corners in the 2025 NFL Draft but fell to the second round due to injury concerns. Now nearing full health again, Morrison is expected to compete for one of Tampa Bay's top outside cornerback spots this summer.
