23-Year-Old Wide ReceiverWR
New England Patriots
2023 Fantasy Outlook
Douglas was the second of two wide receivers selected by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, so the Liberty product isn't a lock to make the team's initial roster. If he does stick, the 5-8, 170-pounder has the quickness to potentially emerge as a slot option for the team, as well as contribute as a returner. For now, though, Douglas is clearly behind JuJu Smith-Schuster, DeVante Parker, Tyquan Thornton and Kendrick Bourne on the depth chart and also has to jostle for slotting with fellow rookie Kayshon Boutte. Minimal production in snow
WRNew England Patriots

Douglas caught two of five targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 17-3 loss to the Jets.
ANALYSIS
As if catching passes from Bailey Zappe against the stout Jets secondary wasn't tough enough on its own, Douglas also had to contend with a snowstorm. The 2023 sixth-round draft pick showed some promise this season with 49 catches for 561 yards on 78 targets, though he failed to score a touchdown across 14 games as a rookie. The Patriots will likely try to bolster their wide-receiver room in the offseason, but Douglas could also benefit from a potential upgrade at quarterback, which could come via the Patriots' third overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Unclear if in protocol
WRNew England Patriots
November 29, 2023
Head coach Bill Belichick wouldn't disclose Monday whether Douglas is in concussion protocol, but a clarification on the receiver's status is expected when the Patriots resume practicing Wednesday, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Douglas exited the Week 12 loss to the Giants with what was termed as a head injury. While Douglas said after the game that he wasn't concussed, the 2-9 Patriots are likely to take a cautious approach with the rookie wide receiver, who has already had one concussion this season.
