Jalen Nailor

Nailor's solid work as the No. 3 receiver in Minnesota begs the question of what he might do with a larger role. We won't have to wait long for an answer with Nailor now joining the WR-needy Raiders on a three-year, $35 million contract ($18 million guaranteed at signing). That's perhaps closer to WR3 money than WR2 money in the current market, but Nailor nonetheless finds himself in the mix for a top-two spot on a weak depth chart. A 2022 sixth-round pick, he didn't play much his first two seasons before putting up 28-414-6 in 2024 (42 targets, 17 games) and 29-444-4 in 2025 (53 targets, 17 games). Nailor ran a mere 4.50 40 at the 2022 Combine, but he nonetheless became none for his on-field speed in Minnesota, albeit in the No. 3 role behind standouts Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. In Las Vegas, the 27-year-old will catch passes from Fernando Mendoza and/or Kirk Cousins while playing in an offense directed by head coach Klint Kubiak. The Raiders are said to have interest in adding another veteran wideout, but for the time being, it'll likely be Nailor and Tre Tucker atop the depth chart for the start of camp, with Jack Bech, Dont'e Thornton and others pushing for roles (in an offense where RB Ashton Jeanty and TE Brock Bowers figure to dominate volume).
