2024 Fantasy Outlook
Granson was the most productive member of a crowded Colts tight end room last season, posting 30 catches for 368 yards and one touchdown on 50 targets. Indianapolis had three other tight ends total between 147 and 207 yards. All of those options remain with the team, plus Jelani Woods – who led all Colts TEs with 312 receiving yards in 2022 – is expected to return to the field after missing all of 2023 due to a hamstring injury. Granson’s Week 2 touchdown against the Texans last season marks his only trip to the end zone through 45 NFL games, and he isn’t an imposing red-zone target at 6-foot-3. Between his lack of a nose for the end zone and significant competition for playing time, Granson seems unlikely to break out in his fourth NFL season. Read Past Outlooks
Not targeted in win
Granson failed to record a single target in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Granson remains part of crowded tight end rotation, splitting snaps with teammates Mo Alie-Cox and Drew Ogletree. The 26-year-old Granson played 20 of the Colts' 66 offensive snaps, while Alie-Cox and Ogletree played 31 and 24 snaps, respectively. Through four weeks, the 6-foot-3, 242-pounder has just two catches for 49 yards. Granson will remain far off the fantasy radar when the Colts visit the Jaguars in Week 5.

2021
Granson was at times the top target among the Colts' tight ends last season, but the team split targets and playing time between three tight ends and neither he, Mo Alie-Cox nor Jelani Woods was an impact fantasy option. Granson amassed 31 receptions for 302 yards and no touchdowns on 40 targets over 13 games, missing the final three games due to a concussion. He's seen as an athletic, field-stretching tight end and has shown signs of becoming a top option in the passing game, but he again faces crowded competition for targets with the Colts taking another tight end in the 2023 draft (fifth-rounder Will Mallory).

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could factor into offense
Granson should be given an opportunity to be a contributor at tight end in the Colts' offense this season, Mike Chappell of FOX 59 writes.
ANALYSIS
Granson was selected in the fourth round by the Colts in the 2021 NFL Draft, but he managed only 11 receptions for 106 yards in his rookie season. Jack Doyle has since retired to open up some snaps, though the team also drafted Jelani Woods and Andrew Ogletree this summer to bolster the position. Mo Alie-Cox is almost certain to top the Indianapolis depth chart at tight end, but Granson should still have a chance to make a greater contribution in his second season with less experienced options behind him.
