Rest-of-Season Projections
2023 Fantasy Outlook
Goodwin was one of the Browns' two veteran wide receiver acquisitions during the offseason. The team signed the 32-year-old one day after trading for 23-year-old Elijah Moore from the Jets. The duo adds to the wideout unit's overall speed, an offseason priority, and gives QB Deshaun Watson two more reliable targets beyond Amari Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones. Goodwin's primary role will be as a deep threat and to occasionally run fly routes. He enters training camp fourth on the depth chart can could fall further depending on the development of third-round pick Cedric Tillman. Read Past Outlooks

Recent RotoWire Articles Featuring Marquise Goodwin See More

Most of us would sooner forget the Broncos-Bears game, but it was at least interesting for fantasy purposes thanks to young RBs Khalil Herbert and Jaleel McLaughlin both taking on larger roles.

The Dolphins rightfully get most of the headlines this week, but De'Von Achane might not be the only emerging rookie star in a high-flying AFC offense.

Kenny Pickett will try to right the ship Monday, but the Steelers are reeling as the Browns come to town.

The Rams remain the center of the fantasy universe as RotoWire's Jerry Donabedian takes his weekly look at playing time, usage and personnel from every Week 2 contest.

After multi-year stints with the Bills and 49ers to begin his career, Goodwin opted out of the 2020 campaign and then filled a depth role for the Bears last season. In 14 games, he corralled 20 of 40 targets for 313 yards and one touchdown while working with quarterbacks Justin Fields and Andy Dalton. Goodwin still has world-class speed at his disposal, as evidenced by two receptions of 40-plus yards in 2021. Now with the Seahawks, he's even further down the depth chart, and with Geno Smith claiming the starting job over Drew Lock, Goodwin's prospects are tepid at best.
