2022 Fantasy Outlook
Bolton stepped in as a rookie and made his presence felt, racking up a team-high 112 tackles (57 solo) despite starting just 12 of the 16 games he appeared in. While Bolton didn't necessarily excel as a coverage linebacker last season, he was solid as both a run stopper and a pass rusher and should reprise his role on the inside in 2022. Read Past Outlooks

Finishes NFL runner-up in tackles
LBKansas City Chiefs
January 17, 2023
Bolton compiled 16 tackles (eight solo) in the 31-13 win over the Raiders in Week 18.
ANALYSIS
Bolton couldn't quite catch Foye Oluokun (184 total tackles) to lead the league in tackles, but his 180 on the year were good enough for him to finish second ahead of Roquan Smith (169). Bolton has tallied triple-digit tackles in each of his first two campaigns but added to his repertoire in 2022, notching a pair of sacks and a pair of interceptions. The 2021 second-round pick has lived up to his draft status and more through the two seasons, and could man the middle of the defense in Kansas City for years to come. At the very least, Bolton remains on his rookie deal for two more seasons, though the Chiefs will likely look to extend him before that expires.

2021 Fantasy Outlook
Bolton was selected by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft and could be in line to make an immediate impact in Kansas City. With Damien Wilson now out of the picture, more snaps in the linebacker rotation should be available, and Bolton figures to be the top candidate to handle a chunk of those if he shows well during training camp. He joins a linebacking corps with Anthony Hitchens, Willie Gay, and Ben Niemann as the other primary contributors.
