Like most seventh-round picks, Toure faced long odds when he entered the league in 2022. However, he earned a roster spot in training camp, and after being inactive for the first six games of the season, he suited up for each of the final 11. He caught only five passes, but two went for 30-plus yards and one went for a touchdown. Toure will be challenged again, as the Packers selected wideouts in both the second and fifth rounds of this year's draft. Considering the team didn't add any experienced WRs and the coaching staff has repeatedly brought up his name this offseason, he'll have a chance to be more involved in his second go-around. Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that Toure (knee), who was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, will "be down for a while," Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Toure has gained eight pounds and feels much stronger physically heading into his second NFL season, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. "I've got a pretty wiry body, so honestly, I put on eight pounds, and I really don't even notice but I can definitely feel a difference," Toure said. "I feel more explosive. I feel stronger."
