After a stretch of four consecutive missed cuts, Billy Horschel found himself listed among last week's "Fallers." However, from the abyss emerged a champion at the AT&T Byron Nelson, as the "Barometer Jynx" turned out to be a positive for Horschel, who took the title in a playoff victory over Jason Day. It's a small sample size, however, but things are looking up for Horschel, who had not won in nearly three years prior to last week. With last week in the rearview mirror, we'll turn our attention to this week's risers, fallers, and injury updates.
VALUE RISING
Kevin Tway
Ascending to No. 59 in the FedExCup standings, Tway has come out of nowhere to post five straight top-35 finishes, including three consecutive top-fives from the Valero through the Wells Fargo. He's been killing it off the tee, ranking eighth on Tour in driving distance -- with a 306-yard average -- while placing 23rd in SG: off-the-tee. Seated at No. 200 in the Official World Golf Ranking, Tway will look to ride his positive momentum at the upcoming DEAN & DELUCA Invitational.
Louis Oosthuizen
The South African has moved up to No. 17 in the OWGR and 30th in the FedExCup standings thanks to three top-20s in his last four starts. He tied for second at THE PLAYERS Championship among a loaded field, but even more impressively, Oosthuizen hasn't missed a single cut since last year's British Open. He's currently seventh among his peers in terms of total strokes gained

Louis Oosthuizen

Oosthuizen will take this week off but is committed to play in next week's Memorial Tournament.
Rafael Cabrera-Bello
Cabrera-Bello landed in the "Falling" section just over a month ago during a stretch of three straight missed cuts, but he took a few weeks off following the RBC Heritage and the rest period paid dividends. He finished top-25 in his first tournament back at the Wells Fargo Championship and followed that performance up with a T4 at THE PLAYERS Championship. The 25th-ranked player in the OWGR is sixth in SG: putting, and will look to keep the hot putter rolling at next week's Memorial Tournament.
VALUE FALLING
Bill Haas
After not missing a single cut from the 2016 Deutsche Bank Championship through the Masters in April, Haas missed three in a row in his last three events. He has fallen to No. 43 in the OWGR and currently ranks outside of the top 110 on Tour in both SG: off-the-tee and SG: putting. Haas will be in the field this week at the DEAN & DELUCA Invitational, where he hasn't notched a top-20 finish since 2011.
D.A. Points
Points won the Puerto Rico Open in late March while the world's top talent played a WGC event, but he has since missed three cuts in his last five events. He ranks just 170th and 190th on Tour in SG: off-the-tee and SG: putting, respectively, but has been saved by hitting nearly 70 percent of his greens in regulation. Points intends to play in the Memorial Tournament next week, where he has missed the cut in four consecutive attempts.
Chez Reavie
Reavie was on his way to his best season since 2011 after following up a T24 at the Shriners with three consecutive top-12 finishes, but he has missed seven of 11 cuts since. His wedge play around the greens has been horrendous, as he ranks 179th on Tour in scrambling from 10-20 yards. Minimal length off the tee doesn't help much either, with Reavie getting just 281 yards on his drives. He will be in the field for the DEAN & DELUCA, where he missed the cut in 2016.
INJURY UPDATE
Charl Schwartzel (wrist)
Schwartzel, who withdrew from last week's AT&T Byron Nelson during the third round, will also miss the upcoming DEAN & DELUCA Invitational due to a wrist injury. The severity of the issue at this point remains unclear, but he has not yet committed to next week's Memorial Tournament. With the U.S. Open approaching in June, Schwartzel may elect to take it easy in the short term.
Rory McIlroy (ribs/back)
An MRI last week revealed McIlroy isn't dealing with any new injuries, but the rib/back issues that occurred earlier in the year have flared up again. Fortunately the soreness is not as intense, but McIlroy will sit out of this week's BMW PGA Championship, which is a pretty big deal for the European Tour. With McIlroy in the field for the Memorial, expect another update on his status once a final decision has been made.
