It's also a good time to check in on how the Reshuffle List players are doing in the playoffs, beginning with the seven who had a chance to effectively clinch their PGA Tour cards for 2013 during FedEx Cup play.
Brian Harman, $1,113,276 - Harman successfully clinched his 2013 card after finishing T5 at The Barclays, where an opening-round 65 put him in contention immediately. He entered the BMW Championship last weekend 51st in points and left the BMW in 51st after a T41 finish, which means he's not going to Atlanta this week. But he's already accomplished his primary goal: having a place to play next year.
Colt Knost $759,651 - Knost's playoffs ended abruptly after missing the cut at The Barclays, a Friday 79 doing him in. The good news for Knost is that with nearly $760K he is within the vicinity 125 on the money list, so all he needs is one or two made cuts in the fall season and he should be safe.
Troy Kelly $777,112 - Kelly actually made the cut and tied for 54th at The Barclays, but it only got him to 113th in the points list, 12 spots away from the lucky 100 that advanced to Boston for the Deutsche Bank Championship. However, his money total is most likely safe

Will Claxton $726,200 - Claxton's rounds of 70-74 weren't good enough to make the weekend at The Barclays, and at 102 on the FedEx Cup points list it wasn't good enough to head to the Deutsche Bank Championship either. So now Claxton needs autumn to clinch his card, hoping his solid 2012 will give him a chance to vie for his first victory in 2013.
Roberto Castro $699,495 - Castro made it to Boston and tied for 51st at the Deutsche Bank. But at 77th in the FedEx Cup standings Crooked Stick and the BWM was not in his future. He will also need the Fall Series to make sure he stays at the main tour next year. To make matters worse, he bogeyed 15 and 16 and failed to birdie the par-5 18th on Monday at the Deutsche to give himself a shot to improve his position and possibly make it to the BMW. Ouch.
Jeff Maggert $598,994 - A tie for 73rd left Maggert making just $15K on Long Island and heading home for the remainder of the playoffs. Fall Series events will see this veteran show up to attempt to make about $200K of much needed cash.
Gary Christian $599,722 - Christian also headed home after The Barclays, when his T46 finish didn't get him into the Top 100. A back nine Sunday that featured two bogeys and no birdies didn't help his cause much either.
