Set against Herrig on Aug. 15
June 11, 2020
Jandiroba is expected to fight Felice Herrig in a strawweight bout at the UFC's Aug. 15 event, Brett Okamoto of ESPN reports.
Jandiroba most recently emerged victorious over Mallory Martin at UFC Fight Night in Washington D.C. last December, logging a convincing win via submission. The talented submission specialist will look to overcome a two-inch height disadvantage against Herrig, who will make her first professional appearance since 2018 after recovering from an ACL tear.

Easily submits Mallory Martin
December 7, 2019
Jandiroba defeated Mallory Martin via submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 1:16 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Washington D.C.
It was an excellent rebound performance for Jandiroba on the heels of a unanimous decision setback to Carla Esparza in her UFC debut in April. Facing a far less talented opponent following the withdrawal of her originally scheduled opponent Linvinha Souza, Jandiroba easily got Martin to the mat early in Round 2 to score the 12th submission win of her pro career. The fact Jandiroba is yet to score a knockout victory is highly concerning moving forward, but she's clearly a talented submission specialist.

Will face Livinha Souza
October 31, 2019
Jandiroba will face Livinha Souza in a strawweight matchup at UFC Washington DC on Dec. 7, Guilherme Cruz of reports.
Jandiroba was initially scheduled to face Cortney Casey, but she was forced to withdraw from the card for undisclosed reasons, so Souza will step in on short notice. Jandiroba is coming off her first loss of her MMA career, as she was defeated by Carla Esparza via unanimous decision in April during her UFC debut, bringing her record to 14-1. Souza carries a 13-2 record as a professional fighter as she is coming off a loss to Brianna Van Buren via unanimous decision in July. Souza carries a slight height advantage, while Jandiroba has a slight advantage in reach.
Falls via decision in debut
April 27, 2019
Jandiroba lost to Carla Esparza via unanimous decision (27-30, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fort Lauderdale on Saturday.
Jandiroba entered this fight as an undefeated prospect, but met a gritty UFC veteran that put that streak to en end. There wasn't a ton of noteworthy action on the feet, as Esparza won the battle of significant strikes by a mark of 25 to 17. Jandiroba did get credited with three takedowns, but was never able to keep control of Esparza for a meaningful period of time. She even threatened with a guillotine choke in the second round, but in the end, it was a fight where Esparza was firmly in control. Despite the loss, there are plenty of fighters in the strawweight division that Jandiroba would enter a betting favorite if pinned against.

Now, Jandiroba, who is the current Invicta FC strawweight champion will step in to make her UFC debut against Esparza. Ezparza boasts a 4-4 record in the UFC and was the promotion's first ever strawweight champion.
