Take decision in official UFC debut

Carolina defeated Priscila Cachoeira via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-26, 29-27) at UFC 237 on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Carolina had zero issues with her late-notice replacement. Originally scheduled to face Yanan Wu, Cachoeira stepped in after Wu was injured in late April and Carolina beat her up just the same. A product of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series, Carolina thoroughly and easily dissected an overmatched Cachoeira with constant combinations and continued aggressiveness. The 25-year-old is a name to watch in the painfully-thin 125-pound UFC's female division.

Receives new opponent at UFC 237

Carolina has a new opponent for UFC 237 on May 11 in the form of Priscila Cachoeira, Alexander K. Lee of reports.
Carolina's original opponent, Yanan Wu, needed to withdraw from the bout due to an undisclosed injury, so she'll now be facing Cachoeira instead. Both women will be looking for their first win with UFC, as Carolina is making her debut and Cachoeira is looking to notch a victory after starting 0-2 with the promotion.

Carolina is set to fight Wu Yanan at UFC 237 on May 11.
Carolina is going to get to make her UFC debut in her home country of Brazil when she enters the Octagon in May. She'll enter the competition carrying a career record of 5-1 but hasn't won a fight by TKO in over two years, while Yanan is 1-1 with UFC but has a career record of 10-2.
