August 30, 2021
Jung will face Kennedy Nzechukwu on October 16, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
Jung is undefeated (3-0-1) in his first four UFC bouts. He overwhelmed his last opponent, William Knight, by continuing to exploit Knight's poor takedown defense. Nzechukwu will likely be Jung's toughest test in the UFC so far.

Remains undefeated in UFC
Light HeavyweightUFC
April 10, 2021
Jung defeated William Knight via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-27) at UFC on ABC 2 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Easy work. Recognizing a clear and overwhelming weakness in his opponent's arsenal, Jung repeatedly exploited Knight's poor takedown defense. He landed 8-of-9 attempts en route to 12:04 worth of control time. It's a shocking number for a fight that lasted just 15 minutes. Jung didn't look particularly good in fighting Sam Alvey to a split draw in his most recent fight last November, but he was in prime form on Saturday. Jung remains undefeated (3-0-1) in his first four UFC bouts.

Jung will now face William Knight in a light heavyweight match at the UFC's event on April 10, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Jung's initial opponent, Shamil Gamzatov, has been forced to withdraw due to visa issues. Instead he'll face off against Knight, who is looking to improve to 2-0 with the UFC.

Jung (13-2-1) is scheduled to face Shamil Gamzatov (14-0-0) in a light heavyweight bout at the UFC's April 10 event, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Jung returns to the Octagon after seeing his 12-fight winning streak come to an end in October, when he fought Sam Alvey to a split draw at UFC 254 in Abu Dhabi. The 27-year-old boasts a 2-0-1 record through three fights with the promotion.
Underwhelming effort as favorite

Jung and Sam Alvey fought to a split draw (29-28, 28-29, 28-28) at UFC 254 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
Jung, who entered as a hefty -310 favorite, appeared to be well on his was to a devastating loss before finding his range over the course of the final five minutes. Facing an opponent who displays zero footwork, Jung foolishly spent the first two rounds throwing bombs from the bleachers. Very few of them connected, and Alvey was able to fire off counter strikes. Over the course of the final round, Jung wisely leaned on short elbows and jabs and had much more success in the process. Jung is just 26 years of old, but the fact he struggled with an aging veteran like Alvey isn't a great sign. He will have to be better his next time out.

August 23, 2020
Jung (undisclosed) will face Sam Alvey (undisclosed) in a light heavyweight fight at UFC 254 on Oct. 24, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
Jung withdrew from his scheduled fight against Ed Herman on Aug. 1 for unspecified reasons. However, he'll attempt to improve to 3-0 under the UFC banner against Alvey. Jung most recently defeated Mike Rodriguez via KO (punches) in December of 2019. Alvey is coming off a layoff of his own as he was handed a 180-day medical suspension for an undisclosed reason in May. The suspension came after he lost to Ryan Spann via split decision at UFC 249 in May as he's now lost four consecutive fights. Jung has advantages in both height and reach.
