Adriane Carnelossi

Debut fight set
August 13, 2019
Carnelossi is scheduled to make her UFC debut against Angela Hill at UFC Mexico City, Damon Martin of reports.
Carnelossi was originally scheduled to make her debut at UFC Uruguay this past weekend, but her opponent withdrew too close to the fight for a replacement to be announced. Her new opponent, Hill, is riding a bit a slump, as she is 1-3 in her last four fights. Carnelossi, on the other hand, is riding a 12-fight winning streak that includes eight KO/TKO victories, though it's fair to question the caliber of competition.

Won't compete in Uruguay
July 31, 2019
Carnelossi will not be granted a replacement opponent for UFC Uruguay on Aug. 10, Raphael Marinho of Combate reports.
Carnelossi was set to make her UFC debut as a replacement opponent herself, but the 26-year-old will instead be putting that event on hold. It sounds like the UFC has prepared in advance for this scenario, as the card still has 13 fights even after dropping this strawweight matchup.
Loses UFC Uruguay opponent
July 29, 2019
Carnelossi -- who was scheduled to make her debut against Taila Santos at UFC Uruguay on Aug.10 -- will need a new opponent after Santos (wrist) withdrew from the fight, Guilherme Cruz of reports.
Carnelossi was herself a replacement for Ashlee Evans-Smith in the bout and she moved up a class to make her UFC debut against Santos. Given the short notice and the fact that neither of the original fighters remains on the card, it's unclear if Carnelossi will get another opponent.
Replacing Evans-Smith to fight Santos
July 4, 2019
Carnelossi will replace Ashlee Evans-Smith against Taila Santos for UFC Fight Night in Uruguay on Aug. 10, Guilherme Cruz of reports.
It's immediately unclear why Evans-Smith withdrew from the fight. Carnelossi is on a 12-fight winning streak, most recently defeating Ketlen Souza via third-round knockout at Future MMA 5 in Brazil.
