Hannah Goldy

Finally gets in UFC win column
September 18, 2021
Goldy defeated Emily Whitmire via submission (armbar) at 4:17 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Goldy should consider herself fortunate that she was able to emerge victorious in a fight in which she was dominated for its entirety, but she is now officially in the UFC win column and likely saved her job as a result. Despite Saturday's victory, Goldy has had real difficulty with the physicality of her opposition at the highest level. That, combined with the lack of power in her hands, leaves her with virtually zero upside despite this win.

Facing Whitmire on Sept. 18
August 23, 2021
Goldy is scheduled to face Emily Whitmire at the UFC's Sept. 18 event after Whitmire's initial opponent, Cory McKenna, withdrew due to an unspecified reason, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA.nl reports.
Since joining the UFC in 2019, Goldy (5-2-0) has dropped her first two bouts with the promotion. Goldy most recently fought July 24, going three rounds versus Diana Belbita before falling in a unanimous decision. Whitmire (4-4-0) is also a loser in her last fights, after having won in both of her first two bouts upon joining the promotion.
Remains winless in organization
July 24, 2021
Goldy lost to Diana Belbita via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC on ESPN 27 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Goldy looked to have improved her striking since her UFC debut, landing several clean head kicks in the opening minutes, but she was once again at a reach disadvantage, which allowed her opponent to keep her on the end of punches. She may be strong for this division, but her physical limitations will likely always come into play when she can't get the fight to the ground. Goldy falls to 5-2 in professional MMA as a result of the loss.
