Baudot lost to Rodrigo Nascimento via TKO (punches) at 1:29 of Round 2 at UFC on ESPN 26 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Baudot looked considerably better on Saturday than in his UFC debut against Tom Aspinall last October, but the end result -- a knockout defeat -- was the same. Entering as a roughly a +300 underdog, Baudot actually won Round 1 on the strength of plenty of power shots, but found himself up against the fence during an exchange early in Round 2 and was unable to recover. There is no guarantee Baudot gets a third fight with the company considering how little he has shown in his first two tries.

Baudot has had his heavyweight matchup against Rodrigo Nascimento rescheduled for July 17, Sergio Pineiro of Fighter Path MMA reports.
ANALYSIS
Baudot is reportedly dealing with an injury that will require the fight to be moved back from May 22, but which won't but the bout at risk of being outright cancelled. Coming off a loss in his UFC debut, Baudot will need to make sure he's at full health before next entering the Octagon.

Baudot (8-2-0) is scheduled to face Rodrigo Nascimento (8-1-0) in a heavyweight fight at the UFC's May 22 event, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Baudot will be returning to the Octagon in search of a better showing after he was defeated soundly in his UFC debut Oct. 10 in Abu Dhabi, where he suffered a first-round loss to Tom Aspinall. Coincidentally, Nascimento's last fight came on that same card, with the 28-year-old Brazilian also bowing out in the first round versus Chris Daukaus.

Baudot lost to Tom Aspinall via TKO (punches) at 1:35 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
About the only positive spin you can put on Baudot's UFC debut is his willingness to accept this fight on short notice. It was all downhill once it actually began. Baudot spend his entire MMA career prior to Saturday night in numerous different regional companies. He has also never faced anyone of note to date. He seems likely to get another opportunity with the company, but little should be expected from the 32-year-old.
