Battle will face Tresean Gore on Feb. 5, reports.
The pair had been set to meet in the finals of The Ultimate Fighter 29 before Gore was forced to withdraw due to injury. Gore has only fought three times as a professional but has won all three of his fights.

Newest member of UFC roster
August 28, 2021
Battle won The Ultimate Fighter 29 Middleweight Final on Saturday, defeating Gilbert Urbina via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:15 of Round 2 at UFC on ESPN 30 in Las Vegas.
Battle was the very last pick when the rosters were chosen at the start of the season by current UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski and his upcoming challenger Brian Ortega, but that didn't stop Battle from winning the whole thing. He scored a unanimous decision over Kemran Lachinov in the quarterfinals before submitting Andre Petroski (who looked brilliant on Saturday) in the semifinals. The sample size is obviously extremely small, but Battle looks like a capable mat specialist who can be bullied on the feet at times. Regardless, the soon-to-be 27-year old is the newest member of the UFC roster, and it will be interesting to watch his development.
