Remains perfect in UFC
Ruziboev defeated Sedriques Dumas via KO (punches) at 3:18 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Atlantic City.
ANALYSIS
Ruziboev has to worry about his win being changed to a no-contest upon a certain forthcoming appeal from Dumas and his team, but he again looked terrific for as long as the action lasted. Ruziboev was dominating the striking exchanges between the two, but it appeared as if a rake of the eyes led to the start of the sequence which resulted in the finish. For now, it goes in the record books as Ruziboev's second knockout victory in as many UFC bouts.

It was quite a performance from a guy that agreed to this fight about 10 days ago, replacing Abdul Razak Alhassan (undisclosed). A veteran of nearly 50 professional fights, Ruziboev caught a Ferreira kick in the early going and responded with shot right down the middle which floored the Brazilian. A few strikes later, this one was over. Still just 29 years of age, Ruziboev has fought for countless different promotions throughout the years, all over the globe. We'll see if he can keep up the success at the highest level, but this was undoubtedly a good start.
