Jasmine Jasudavicius

First of five DWCS contracts
September 14, 2021
Jasudavicius defeated Julia Polastri via unanimous decision (29-27, 29-27, 29-27) at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. After the show, she was one of five fighters to be awarded an official UFC contract.
Jasudavicius had a few advantages in this fight as a slight betting favorite, holding big height and reach advantages over an opponent who was moving up a weight class. She came out with a fast start, logging a 10-8 round that nearly saw the proceedings end. While she faded a bit towards the end, she still outlanded Polastri 137 to 92 in total strikes and 88 to 80 in significant strikes (per Richard Mann of UFCStats.com). Jasudavicius will add much-needed depth to the flyweight division, and she said after the fight that she will be looking to schedule her debut as soon as possible.
