Saint-Denis is scheduled to compete against Dustin Poirier at UFC 299, per Nolan King of USA Today.

According to Poirier, he could not get a hold of his manager for a few days, which resulted in a miscommunication that ultimately led the top-five lightweight to believe he was not competing against Saint-Denis. Apparently, that is not the case after all, giving Saint-Denis a coveted opportunity to leapfrog much of his competition in the UFC's lightweight rankings.
