UFC Paris: MMA Betting Picks and Odds Insight
The UFC is in Paris, France, on Saturday, September 6, for a solid Fight Night card. The main event sees middleweight contenders throw down as Nassourdine Imavov takes on Caio Borralho.
Below, I'll share my UFC Paris predictions, including my favorite pick, an underdog, a prop, and a two-fighter parlay. All UFC odds are via the DraftKings Sportsbook and are accurate as of the post date of this article.
Weight Class: Lightweight
Mauricio Ruffy (12-1) vs Benoit Saint-Denis (14-3)
In the co-main event of UFC Paris, a compelling lightweight scrap goes down, and I like Mauricio Ruffy to get past Benoit Saint-Denis in an all-action fight.
Ruffy is a perfect 3-0 in the UFC and is a proficient striker, while Saint-Denis is 1-2 in his last three (he was finished by Dustin Poirier and Renato Moicano). Ruffy is the superior striker with more power, so he should be able to keep it standing and land heavy shots against Saint-Denis.
Saint-Denis has had an issue with his striking defense -- simply put, he's there to be hit. Ruffy's power should be able to capitalize on to get a big KO win.

Weight Class: Middleweight
Nassourdine Imavov (16-4) vs Caio Borralho (17-1)
For my underdog pick at UFC Paris, I'm taking Nassourdine Imavov to beat Caio Borralho in the main event.
Imavov has looked great as of late, as he's coming off a KO win over Israel Adesanya and is on a four-fight winning streak. On the winning streak, he knocked out Jared Cannonier, while Borralho edged out a decision win over Cannonier.
Imavov throws more volume than Borralho, and the former also has good enough takedown defense to keep the fight standing. I like Imavov -- who fights out of Salon-de-Provence, France and should have the crowd support -- to land more strikes and edge out a very competitive decision win.

Weight Class: Lightweight
Bolaji Oki (10-2) vs Mason Jones (16-2)
For my prop at UFC Paris, I'm taking the over 2.5 rounds in the lightweight fight between Bolaji Oki and Mason Jones.
Oki and Jones should be an all-action striking fight, but both are as durable as they come. Oki is 2-1 in the UFC with two wins by decision and a submission defeat, but Jones isn't a submission threat.
Jones, meanwhile, has gone the distance in his last two fights and couldn't finsih Jeremy Stephens last time out, which was expected. So, expect both of their chins to hold up and for this to be a potential Fight of the Night. Banking on the over is the best spot here.
UFC Paris Bet: Bolaji Oki & Mason Jones over 2.5 rounds (-160)

Weight Class: Middleweight & Light heavyweight
Brad Tavares (21-10) vs Robert Bryczek (17-6)
Modestas Bukauskas (18-6) vs Paul Craig (17-9-1)
For my parlay at UFC Paris, I'm backing Brad Tavares and Modestas Bukauskas to get their hands raised.
Tavares is coming off a decision win over Gerald Meerschaert, as the veteran is a tough out for anyone. Bryczek, meanwhile, is 0-1 in the UFC, as he lost to Ihor Potieira, and Tavares is a more difficult opponent. Tavares should be the more active striker on the feet, and he can also use his clinch work to grind out a win here. Tavares is better everywhere and cruises to victory.
To close out the parlay, I like Bukauskas to beat Paul Craig. Craig remains in the UFC, and this is a tough fight for him, as Bukauskas is a well-rounded fighter who has KO power. Craig's chin has been a concern, as Bukauskas should be able to keep it standing and eventually get a TKO win.
