Drops stellar co-main event
Rebecki lost to Chris Duncan via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Vegas 108 on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
This fight was closer than the "unanimous decision" terminology would lead you to believe and was potentially a "Fight of the Year" candidate. Rebecki out-landed Duncan in significant strikes in each of the first two rounds and won the overall total 114-to-92, but it was Duncan that did the more significant damage in the eyes of the judges. Rebecki was certainly wearing the damage a bit more, leaking blood and showing significant swelling on his forehead that had his eye swollen shot by the end of Round 3. Still, Rebecki showed tremendous heart and a granite chin as he continued to press forward in the final frame. Both men would rightfully walk away with a $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus.

Gets right back in win column
Rebecki defeated Myktybek Orolbai via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) at UFC 308 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
It's a massive rebound performance from Rebecki on the heels of his third-round knockout loss to Carlos Diego Ferreira in May as a -400 favorite. He found himself as a +250 underdog against Orolbai and honestly looked more comfortable in the role. He limited Orolbai's space in taking Round 1. Myktybek came back to even the fight in Round 2, at which point Rebecki landed the biggest blow of the bout, a massive right hand which floored his opponent in Round 3. Mateusz gassed out hard the remainder of the frame and may have been in huge trouble if there was even another minute on the clock, but as is, two of the three judges felt he did enough to win. Rebecki improves to 4-1 in the UFC, in addition to scoring a win on Dana White's Contender Series. He also takes home an additional $50,000 for his efforts here, as this matchup was rightfully awarded Fight of the Night honors.

Scheduled against Orolbai
Rebecki is scheduled to compete against fellow lightweight Myktybek Orolbai at UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 26, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
After an embarrassing loss to Carlos Diego Ferreira at UFC St. Louis, Rebecki will try to redeem himself by defeating a highly touted prospect in Orolbai, who is trying to go 3-0 in the promotion. Rebecki himself went 3-0 in 2023.

Falls as biggest favorite on card
Rebecki lost to Carlos Diego Ferreira via TKO (punches) at 4:51 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in St. Louis.
ANALYSIS
What a disaster. Entering as upwards of a -400 favorite, by far the largest on the entire card, Rebecki put forth quite an effort, and not in a positive way. He started out on fire, putting forth a quick pace and knocking Ferreira down in Round 1, but Rebecki was unable to get the stoppage, and his gas tank completed evaporated early in Round 2. That allowed Diego to batter him the rest of the way, with referee Gary Copeland finally calling for a mercy stoppage with less than ten seconds remaining. Rebecki entered having won 16 fights in a row, including each of his first three with the UFC. It's back to the drawing board for the 31-year-old in the ultra-competitive lightweight division.

Given new opponent
Rebecki is scheduled to compete against Carlos Diego Ferreira in a lightweight fight at UFC St. Louis on May 11, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Rebecki was expected to compete against Joel Alvarez back in UFC Vegas 91 before the latter withdrew. Fortunately for the former, he will just get another two weeks to prepare before facing another opponent in Ferreira, who knocked out Michael Johnson in his last fight.
