ANALYSIS
It's currently unknown why Duraev pulled out of the event, but he will now have to wait a bit longer for another chance at his first victory in nearly a year. Ihor Potieria will take Duraev's place against Bryczek.

Duraev lost to Jun Yong Park via submission (rear-naked choke) at 4:45 of Round 2 at UFC on ESPN 49 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Duraev dominated this fight for about four minutes before it all fell apart. Considerably more aggressive on the feet than we have seen him in the past, Albert got the better of the striking exchanges early on, but expended a ton of energy in doing so. He got caught in a guillotine in the closing seconds of Round 1 and nearly tapped, only to be saved by the bell. His gas tank appeared to immediately evaporate about midway through Round 2. Park began unloading combinations, and Duraev had no answer. He was eventually forced to the mat once again, and this time couldn't survive the frame. The very definition of roster depth, the 34-year-old Russian has alternated losses and wins in his first four UFC bouts.

Duraev is scheduled to fight Jun Yong Park in a middleweight bout at UFC Vegas 77 on July 15, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
This is scheduled to be Duraev's second fight of 2023. Earlier this year, he logged a split-decision win over Chidi Njokuani. Another win for Duraev would begin a winning streak for him. Before losing to Joaquin Buckley via injury in 2022, Duraev won each of his last 10 fights.
Barely gets past Chidi Njokuani

Duraev defeated Chidi Njokuani via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) at UFC on ESPN 43 on Saturday in San Antonio.
ANALYSIS
It wasn't particularly pretty, and Duraev didn't accomplish much after a strong opening frame, but it was enough to earn him the upset win as a +140 underdog. Duraev's opening round success was buoyed by a pair of takedowns and 3:25 worth of control time. He attempted just one additional takedown the rest of the way, and it failed. What he was able to do was limit the time and space on the feet of his heavy-hitting opponent, a necessity if he was to emerge victorious. The 34-year-old Duraev has lost just once since January 2015, a span of a dozen bouts, and that came against Joaquin Buckley in his most recent fight back in June 2022. He's an underrated asset at 185 pounds.

Duraev (undisclosed) will take on Chidi Njokuani in San Antonio on March 25, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Duraev withdrew from his scheduled December fight against Michal Oleksiejczuk for undisclosed reasons, but he'll be ready to go three months later. Both fighters are coming off TKO losses in their most recent rights, and neither has much UFC experience. Duraev owns a 1-1 record with the promotion, while Njokuani has gone 2-1.
