No-shows London opener

Kutateladze lost to Kaue Fernandes via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in London.
ANALYSIS
It was a truly woeful performance from Kutateladze as a -375 favorite, the second-largest on the entire card. He was dominated from start to finish, with Kutateladze's toughness being the lone reason he was able to see the final bell. Offensively, Guram was able to land just 29 significant strikes in 15 minutes. There was absolutely nothing redeeming about this effort whatsoever. Kutateladze upset Mateusz Gamrot via split decision in his UFC debut back in October 2020, but he's lost three of four since, and his roster spot would appear to be in real jeopardy.

Ready to face Kaue Fernandes
LightweightUFC
February 24, 2025
Kutateladze will take on Kaue Fernandes at UFC London on March 22, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Kutateladze will step onto the octagon for the first time since he defeated Jordan Vucenic via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night in Abu Dhabi on Aug. 3. However, he's gone 1-2 over his last three fights, and given his roster situation, another loss here could cloud his future with the promotion.

Kutateladze defeated Jordan Vucenic via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
Kutateladze got the victory he came to Abu Dhabi for, but boy did he have to work for it. Guram was knocked down by the debuting Vucenic late in Round 1 before managing to survive. He had some hairy moments in Round 2 before finding his range and winning the frame. Kutateladze found himself in a rough position on the mat in the final frame but Vucenic got over-aggressive, and Guram was able to turn the tables and cruise to the finish line. Kutateladze snaps a two-fight losing streak with the comeback win and likely saves his job in the process.

Kutateladze is scheduled to compete against Jordan Vucenic in a lightweight fight at UFC Abu Dhabi on Aug. 3, per Aaron Bronsteter of Sportsnet.
ANALYSIS
Kutateladze will fight at Abu Dhabi overall, and his scheduled bout is now against a reigning Cage Warriors champion. The Georgian Viking is coming off a loss to Elves Brener despite being significantly favored. Kutateladze will look to bounce back in spite of a tougher challenge ahead.
Needs new opponent

July 24, 2024
Kutateladze will not compete against Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady at UFC Abu Dhabi on Aug. 3, according to Farah Hannoun and Nolan King of MMAJunkie.com.
ANALYSIS
Al-Selwady withdrew from UFC Abu Dhabi because of an undisclosed problem. The promotion has just over one week's notice to name a new opponent for Kutateladze.
August fight booked
LightweightUFC
June 4, 2024
Kutateladze will take on Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady in a lightweight matchup at UFC Abu Dhabi on August 3, Farah Hannoun of MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Kutateladze fights infrequently and will have been on the sidelines for a year between fights again here, which could work against him in his attempt to snap a two-fight losing streak. Al-Selwady is also coming off a loss -- a third-round knockout at the hands of Loik Radzhaov in March. Kutateladze will enter this matchup with three-inch height and reach advantages.
