Hannah Goldy

Struggles continue in Vegas
September 23, 2023
Goldy lost to Mizuki Inoue via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Fighting for the first time since last July, Goldy was unable to get anything going offensively. She was consistently forced up against the cage by her opponent and controlled for long stretches at a time. Goldy has just one career win via knockout in nine pro bouts, so it's safe to say she can't be falling behind on the scorecards early on. The 31-year-old has lost back-to-back fights and four of her first five with the UFC, and the odds are against her receiving another opportunity with the company.

Set to fight again in September
June 23, 2023
Goldy will be fighting Mizuki Inoue at UFC Vegas 79 on September 23, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
Goldy last fought in July of 2022 when she suffered a swift knockout defeat at the hands of Molly McCann at UFC London. Her opponent has been out even longer, as she hasn't fought since losing in August of 2020 and then underwent knee surgery a few months after. Goldy is currently 2-2 in the UFC and will look to get back on the right track in a few months' time.
Quickly finished by Molly McCann
July 23, 2022
Goldy lost to Molly McCann via TKO (strikes) at 3:52 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in London.
This was a very tough spot for Goldy, going on the road and facing McCann in front of a hostile English crowd. Hannah did a good job of limiting the distance between the two early on and got in deep on a couple takedown attempts, but she was unable to land one and eventually ate a spinning shot from McCann along the fence which set in motion the stoppage of the fight. A product of Dana White's Contender Series, Goldy lost each of her first two UFC bouts before submitting the since-released Emily Whitmire last September. There isn't much here.
Booked for July 23 bout
May 10, 2022
Goldy is set to clash with Molly McCann on the July 23 Fight Night card in England.
Goldy picked up a victory in her previous bout last September after a pair of losses prior to that, marking her first victory since signing a contract with the UFC following her win over Kali Robbins in the Dana White Contender Series. Goldy and McCann both sport a 5-foot-4 stature, but Goldy does yield an inch of reach to her opponent.
Off card with illness
February 23, 2022
Goldy is dealing with an illness and the UFC has taken her fight against Jinh Yu Frey off the UFC Vegas 49 card on Saturday.
It's unclear what type of illness that Goldy is dealing with. The UFC may look to rebook this matchup when Goldy is healthy. She was last in the Octagon back in September when she defeated Emily Whitmire by submission.
Facing Jinh Yu Frey
November 22, 2021
Goldy will take on Jinh Yu Frey on Feb. 26, MMAJunkie.com reports.
Both fighters have had similar starts to their UFC careers. Both opened with a pair of losses before winning their subsequent fights. Frey has won a pair of unanimous decisions, while Goldy has just a single victory, a first-round submission against Emily Whitmire in September.
