ANALYSIS
It's hard to draw any real conclusions from Silva's UFC debut. Sure, he looked good, but he entered as a -950 favorite and was facing one of the weakest opponents on the entire roster. He was able to stalk Wilson on the feet and land whatever power shots he wanted -- something that he won't be able to do moving forward. A product of Dana White's Contender Series, the 27-year-old Brazilian has now won nine fights in a row. We should get a better idea of his long-term potential after his next bout.

Silva likes to mix elbows and knees into a powerful boxing attack, which gives him more weapons he can use to take a fight over. While he may need to work on starting a bit faster, Silva has certainly shown enough to garner interest as he looks to establish himself in the featherweight division.
