Harry Maguire

Maguire had some heroic moments with Manchester United during the 2024/25 season, and at the end of the day, he was one of the few players who stood out in a troubling season for the Red Devils. Often the team's most consistent defender, he was a regular threat in set-piece situations, though he only scored one goal in 27 appearances (19 starts). His defensive work delivered most of the value, with Maguire racking up solid numbers in stats such as clearances, interceptions and tackles. Talent-wise, Maguire is a player worth targeting in the later rounds of most drafts. Still, Manchester United's inability to keep clean sheets and the team's overall defensive struggles last season could create some cause for concern. Maguire shouldn't be a player worth targeting with the first batch of defenders coming off the board, though the same could be said about any of the center-backs Ruben Amorim might choose to deploy in his 3-4-3 tactic at Old Trafford.
