2025 Fantasy Outlook
It was hard to imagine FC Cincinnati finding a replacement for Alvaro Barreal's All-Star season in 2023. Orellano was brought in on a loan-to-buy option from Vasco da Gama and arguably had a better season in 2024 than Barreal did in 2023. In 33 league appearances, Orellano scored 10 goals and added five assists. His versatility was displayed as he saw time at both wing-back positions, attacking midfield and forward. With FC Cincinnati activating his purchase option, Orellano is set to be a key player in their future. While he might not have another 80-yard golazo, he should project for a similar season of 15-to-20 goal contributions.
Returns to bench
Orellano (leg) is on the bench for Monday's clash with Columbus.
ANALYSIS
Orellano is back on the bench for Monday's clash after overcoming a leg injury. He wasn't deemed fit enough to start the clash, with Yuya Kubo getting the nod at left wing-back instead. Orellano could be back in the starting XI for the second match of the series, when he travels to Columbus on Nov. 2.
