Est. Return 7/12/2025
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Schulte is coming off another highly productive season with Columbus, one where he kept 10 clean sheets in 29 starts, a better return than his nine in 37 appearances in 2023. Schulte has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the MLS. He was a finalist for MLS Goalkeeper of the Year, and he benefits from a dominant attack and a very good defense. Columbus will see the entire defense return in 2025 which is great news for Schulte. Given the nature of how Columbus attacks, Schulte will occasionally concede goals in bunches, but he is still one of the best goalkeeper options in the league heading into the 2025 season.

Trains again
Schulte (oblique) was involved in training Wednesday ahead of Saturday's match against Cincinnati, according to Brianna Mackay of the Columbus Dispatch.
ANALYSIS
Schulte is once again training this week, another improvement after an injury has left him out. This is huge news for the club as they head into their derby match. If he is deemed fit ahead of game time, he will be expected to start, as he is their regular starter when fit.

Arsenal want him
Arsenal are keeping close tabs on signing Schulte, according to The Telegraph.
ANALYSIS
Arsenal are ready to sign a backup goalkeeper, and even a third-string goalkeeper if it proves to be a smart investment. Schulte would fall under that category, and if Arsenal try to sign him, they might end up getting him, just like Chelsea signed Djordje Petrovic from the Revolution less than 12 months ago.
