1. Phil Dawson (SF)

After toiling in relative obscurity in Cleveland the last 14 seasons, Dawson will get his first shot at playing for a contender, and by extension, his first chance at becoming a top-tier fantasy commodity. With a field goal success rate that has dipped below 80 percent in only three seasons of his career, the 38-year old has remained highly accurate as he's aged, posting a career-high 93.5-percent rate in 2012. Dawson’s also a prolific long-range specialist (7-for-7 last season from 50-plus), but the move to San Francisco will especially benefit his PAT numbers. Former Niners kicker David Akers averaged 3.2 PATs per game over Colin Kaepernick's 10 starts last season, a significant jump up from Dawson’s 1.8 with the Browns.

2. Matt Bryant (ATL)

2013 Projections View Matt Bryant's 2013 projected stats.

Coming off a season in which he nailed a career-high 33 field goals and scored 143 points, Bryant has the good fortune of playing nine games in domed stadiums this year and will have his point totals further propped up by a strong Falcons offense. Moreover, Bryant expanded his range last season, hitting 4-of-4 field goals from over 50 yards – two fewer than the total for his entire career. At 38, Bryant is not getting any younger, but his 89.8 percent accuracy rate over his three full seasons in Atlanta makes him one of the most reliable kickers on the board.

3. Stephen Gostkowski (NE)

2013 Projections View Stephen Gostkowski's 2013 projected stats.

Gostkowski's value was fueled almost entirely by the ability of the Patriots offense to crank out touchdowns, resulting in a league-leading 66 PATs – tied for third most in NFL history. Moreover, Gostkowski somehow managed to sneak onto the field for 35 field-goal attempts, his most since 2008. Even if the field goals regress a bit, Gostkowski's huge PAT disparity with most kickers – only three others had more than 50 – ensures his place near the top of the rankings.
