LPL - FPX (6-2) vs OMG (5-2)

The first game on the slate is a sick one because we have a team in FPX who is back in worlds form against an OMG that I have loved since 2016. OMG has disappointed me so many times, but the squad that they are running out has been really good. This is more of a hot take that OMG play every side lane well, and icon has been playing out of his mind to match DoinB. I think the way that OMG wins here is through Curse to focus on top side of FPX, which will be hard to do since Gimgoon plays weak side exceptionally well. BLG took a game off FPX and I have OMG rated higher than BLG in regards to champion pool, synergy and team fighting potential. This is a very good game to target either side.

Prediction: OMG 2-1

Bets: OMG ML (+450)

OMG Players to Target: Curse (TOP $4,800), H4cker (JNG $5,200), icon (MID $5,400), Smlz (ADC $5,800), cold (SUP $3,800), OMG (TEAM $3,800)

LPL - LNG (4-3) vs. eStar (7-1)

My boys in eStar are doing it big in the LPL, taking out the titans Invictus Gaming. This

LPL - LNG (4-3) vs. eStar (7-1)

My boys in eStar are doing it big in the LPL, taking out the titans Invictus Gaming. This team is very special to me, as I was the only one to believe in them, and we all know how I feel about LNG after the game against SN. LNG are still a good team but they have some draft problems when they get countered and in a matchup where Estar will be so proactive, they should be able to stomp LNG. A bloody game to target.

Prediction: Estar 2-0

Bets: None

eStar Players to Target: XiaoBai (TOP $7,200), WEI (JNG $8,000), Cryin (MID $8200), Wink (ADC $8,600), ShiauC (SUP $6,600), eStar (TEAM $5,800)

LPL - RNG (3-3) vs. JDG (5-3)

I was pretty high on RNG and thought they are going to beat JDG in this matchup. But the more I look into it, I am going to stick with my analysis because XLB has been figured out. XLB pathing and champion pool is easy to counter, and I don't fault him because he is a new player. Kanavi, on the other hand, has so many carry style Jungle champions he can pick from, and he is the person who will carry this JDG team to victory against RNG. I know that TES exposed how JDG early game is bad, but RNG loves to draft for late game, and when you put the players side by side, the carries on JDG should be a smidge better than RNG.

Prediction: JDG 2-1

Bets: None

JDG Players to Target: 705 (TOP $6,600), Kanavi (JNG $7,400), Yagao (MID $7,600), Loken (ADC $7,600), LvMao (SUP $6,000), JDG (TEAM $5,400)

RNG Players to Target: LangX (TOP $5,800), XLB (JNG $5,600)

LCK - HLE (4-6) vs. KT (5-5)

HLE got really lucky against DRX because DRX threw the two games they played. DRX had the gold lead in Game 3 until the last few team fights that Chovy basically pulled a WeiYan. They are still trying to figure themselves out due to having the worst jungle/top combo. Meanwhile, KT know who they are and have a play style that defines them as a team. They looked solid against DWG and have a good core of Kuro, Aiming and Tusin. I don't like this game as a fantasy spot because this is more of a toss up and the game won't be as bloody.

Prediction: KT 2-1

Bets: None

KT Players to Target: SoHwan (TOP $6,000), bonO (JNG $6,600), Kuro (MID $6,800), Aiming (MID $7,200), tusiN (SUP $5,200), KT (TEAM $5,600)

LCK - SB (3-7) vs. Griffin (2-8)

WOW, Sandbox proved me wrong Wednesday after subbing guys in and destroying AFS. This team looks like they put in a lot of practice during the time off, and it's paying dividends. They have always been solid but had problems with their solo laners more than anything else. On the other hand, Griffin had to play GenG, who are still the best team in the LCK. Griffin players are so good, it's just that the coach puts them at a huge disadvantage. This is another spot that might be bloody, but be careful of Sandbox subs.

Prediction: SB 2-0

Bets: None

SB Players to Target: Gorilla (SUP $5,200), SB (TEAM $5,200)

LCK - T1 (8-2) vs. DRX (7-3)

This is a popcorn game for me because these are the two teams that will be fighting for second place all split. I know we saw DRX lost to HLE in a weird way, but the players on DRX are insanely good. I'm not taking credit away from T1 because they are an amazing team as well, but the reason I lean DRX is because of their coach, cvMax. This DRX team has good chemistry and they trust each other to the fullest. cvMax built a great culture in this young team and they are hungry to prove themselves to the world. If DRX wants to win they need to shut down Teddy who is their primary carry and I believe that's easy because effort has been underperforming all season long compared to Keria. This might be a slow game because both teams don't want to make that crucial mistake, especially that playoffs are close.

Prediction: DRX 2-1

Bets: DRX ML (+105)

DRX Players to Target: Doran (TOP $5,200), Pyosik (JNG $6,000), Chovy (MID $6,000), Deft (ADC $6,000), Keria (SUP $4,800), DRX (TEAM $4,800)

Stacks to Consider

  • Cash: RNG/FPX, RNG/eStar, KT/eStar, SB/eStar
  • GPP: OMG/JDG, DRX/JDG, OMG/eStar, DRX/eStar
  • My Stacks: OMG/JDG, OMG/eStar, KT/eStar, DRX/eStar
