His per-36-minute production was especially intriguing, translating to 15.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.5 steals, highlighting his activity and energy on both ends. The Nets demonstrated confidence in his upside by exercising his team option, keeping him under contract with partial guarantees into the 2025-26 season. The bad news is that the logjam on the wings is a mess right now. Cam Thomas signed his qualifying offer to return to the team, and the Nets added Terance Mann from the Hawks. Johnson figures to be in the rotation, but he's penciled in as Thomas' backup at shooting guard heading into training camp.
