It's the first Monday of November, and the start of the 2025-26 NCAA Men's College Basketball regular season is upon us. The run to March Madness begins now. We'll make three PrizePicks play on select days throughout the season.
College Basketball PrizePicks Picks & Strategy
If you're unfamiliar with how to play, you must simply choose at least two players from any sport and pick more or less based on their projected statistics to win. We'll obviously be exclusively selecting college hoops players, but you can mix and match from various other sports. You can also go with a flex play, meaning you still can have a winning night even if you have one losing selection. Or, you can go big and choose the power play, which pays out higher. However, you must hit all ends to win. Let's get started.

Acaden Lewis, G, Villanova
It's a new season, and we're going to play our very first pick with one of college basketball's newest stars.
With Kyle Neptune out at Villanova, and Kevin Willard taking over, we get a new-look Wildcats team. Eric Dixon, the team's leading scorer last season and one of the nation's best, is now in the NBA's G League. Lewis looks to be the next star for 'Nova, and the four-star freshman guard should hit the ground running.
The point guard from Sidwell Friends School in Washington D.C. is ready for the big time. He has a rather high target score, and we'll find out quickly if he is everything as advertised in a tough one against BYU.
CBB PrizePicks Selection: Acaden Lewis, Over 14.5 Points
Boogie Fland, G, Florida
Condon and the Florida Gators take on the University of Arizona at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The defending champs open as the No. 3-ranked team in the nation and are staring down the No. 13-ranked Wildcats. Fland transfers in from the University of Arkansas, helping the Gators rebuild its backcourt. The top four guards from last season's championship are gone, so there is plenty of opportunity for Fland to make an immediate splash.
The sophomore from The Bronx averaged 13.5 points, 5.1 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game with the Razorbacks in 2024-25. Will there be an adjustment period, going from Fayetteville to Gainesville?
CBB PrizePicks Selection: Boogie Fland, Over 21.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts

Keanu Dawes, F, Utah
The expectations for Utah basketball in 2025-26 aren't exactly high, and Dawes, who managed just two starts last season, might be the team's best player.
While a lot of the players available for selection on opening night are facing marquee games and opponents, Dawes and his teammates open as big favorites against San Jose State, a team not expected to offer much in the way of resistance Monday night at the Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City.
Dawes had five double-doubles last season, including 19 points and 11 rebounds in a loss to Butler in the College Basketball Crown first round last season, as Utah quickly was dismissed from the postseason. Let's look for Dawes to take advantage of the small-ish Spartans, getting off to a good start.
CBB PrizePicks Selection: Keanu Dawes, Over 24.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts
