DFS College Basketball: Wednesday Preview

This article is part of our DFS College Basketball series.

Today's College Basketball action includes seven top-25 teams taking the court as part of a large 12-game DraftKings slate starting at 6 p.m. EST that is highlighted by the $15 Pull Up Jumper with a $5,000 top payout. Meanwhile, FanDuel starts an hour later and features a 10-game slate for their $9 All-American Contest and a $1,000 to first.

Top Players

Jared Rhoden, G/F, Seton Hall ($7,700 DK, $7,300 FD)

Rhoden is surprisingly priced as the third option on the Seton Hall side tonight despite leading the team with over 30 fantasy ppg, although Bryce Aiken may miss a third straight game as he recovers from a concussion. Rhoden has been the clear workhorse for the Pirates with double-digit shot attempts in 10 straight games including 22 recently against DePaul. He should get plenty of opportunities against a Marquette team that likes to push the tempo.

Kennedy Chandler, G, Tennessee ($7,600 DK)

The five-star freshman has lived up to his billing for the Volunteers as the team's go-to option offensively, with eight 15-point scoring games thus far. He's also done a great job of contributing across the stat sheet to produce a solid floor, leading the team in assists and steals. Chandler should be able to take advantage of a home matchup against a Florida team that is reeling without its best player.

Middle Tier

Adrian Baldwin, G, VCU ($6,400 DK)

Baldwin is coming off consecutive 35+ point fantasy games, and he'll welcome playing Davidson again after posting 10 points, seven assists and five steals against them last Tuesday. One thing you don't have to worry about is Baldwin coming off the court, as he's played all but three minutes the last two games combined. His 24.2 percent usage rate is a team-high and makes him a nice value at an average salary.

Taz Sherman, G, West Virginia ($6,300)

Sherman is likely to be a popular choice on tonight's slate and with good reason -- the Mountaineers' star guard was priced over $2k higher just five weeks ago but gets a big drop in price despite a pair of 30-point fantasy games over his last four. Oklahoma is a sound defensive team, so while this isn't the easiest of matchups, Sherman hasn't been shy about shooting the ball with at least 15 attempts in over half of WVU's games. He's too inexpensive to pass up.

Values

Chuck Harris, G, Butler ($4,700 DK)

Butler's entire roster comes in with a below-average salary, as the team has struggled offensively, but Harris has been a bright spot as of late, re-entering the starting lineup Sunday and responding with 21 points. Priced in the $7k range earlier in the season, this is a salary that's hard to go wrong with. His 30 percent shot percentage when he's on the court is the fifth-highest on tonight's slate.

Jason Jitoboh, F, Florida ($4,500 DK)

It looks as though Florida's star center Colin Castleton will miss a fourth straight game, making Jitoboh a viable fantasy option as a result. He's started all three games in Castleton's absence, averaging 9.3 points and 5.7 rebounds with two combined blocks/steals in each game. At 6-11, 305 pounds, he's been a challenge for opposing defenses when he gets the ball, as he's shooting 65 percent from the field.
